VSB

As a certified member of the Association of Swiss beddingManufacturers (VSB), the Dorbena beddingfactory meets the strict requirements regarding animal welfare, hygiene, environmental protection, product transparency, and consumer protection for downand featherproducts. Our duvetand pillows produced here bear the SWISS QUALITY DOWN seal of quality. VSB is the quality seal of the largest Swiss manufacturers of downduvets and featherpillows. Products are manufactured in Switzerland or the Principality of Liechtenstein.

Downpass

The international, manufacturer-independent DOWNPASS standard certifies the ethical sourcing of downand featherfrom ducks and geese. Cage rearing and force-feeding are prohibited, and the collection of downand featherfrom live animals is forbidden. The Downpass is a criterion for the SWISS GUARANTY VSB label.

Our products have been awarded the Oeko-Tex label. All fabrics used are certified in accordance with the nationally and internationally recognized Oeko-Tex Standard. This label guarantees compliance with legal limit values and ensures that any special fabric finishes are safe.

Sanitized® — comprehensive hygiene protection for healthy and restful sleep

The protection against mites, bacteria, mold, and unpleasant odors is wash-resistant and provides long-lasting effectiveness for several years. Sanitized is headquartered in Burgdorf, Bern; we use this hygienic treatment for select product lines. These products are manufactured in Switzerland or the Principality of Liechtenstein.

Outlast

duvet duvets, pillows, and mattress toppers with unique climate regulation. DORBENA utilizes the latest temperature-regulating PCM (Phase Change Material) technology from NASA space research and incorporates it into its high-quality, extremely comfortable s, pillows, and mattress toppers featuring Outlast®. This helps balance out temperature fluctuations.


Outlast® fibers with PCM absorb excess heat, store it, and then release it again. The advantage of this is that it reduces sweating and achieves active, dynamic temperature regulation. The “sleeping environment” stays drier, and the sleeper enjoys a restful night’s sleep.
